So today I am at work and my friend Zach looks at me and asks, "If you had to choose 5 video games to play for the rest of your life, what would they be?"

I was amazed how this situation had never crossed my mind before, yet I already knew what most of my list consisted of. Here it is:

1. Legend of Dragoon ~ PS1
2. Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time ~ N64
3. Metal Gear Solid ~ PS1
4. TetrisDS ~ DS (Was Super Smash Bros Melee but reconsidered)
5. Final Fantasy VIII ~ PS1

Why these 5 games you ask? Easy enough to answer.

Number 1 is simple, it is the greatest game I have ever played...OF ALL TIME. I never say that about games. The story is amazing, and I absolutely love the characters. 4 discs absolute PS1 greatness, better then any FF game thus far.

Number 2 is because days worth of my childhood were spent playing that game over and over. The songs help me sleep to this day, have them on my iPod in fact. This Zelda game was the best by far, and I have been playing these games all my life so I have the right to say that xP.

Number 3 was a hard one to choose. It was a tough call between Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Both equally amazing games, both of which I have played backwards and forwards. Why choose 1 over 3? Well I thought about it, which do I have the most fond memories of? The one i found myself playing over and over again was MGS1. Best end credit song I have heard, followed closely by Portal's "Still Alive"

Number 4 was changed from Super Smash Bros. Melee to TetrisDS because these are the last games I will ever play, that being said, if I am the last person on Earth, SSBM can get boring after a few days by yourself so I chose TetrisDS. I can go on for days playing the same round of endless mode, that is my game. It is always giving me new goals to overcome. My High Score at the moment is 2,966,235 (Max is 9,999,999) at 999 lines (Maxed out) Level 125 (Max 999). Until I acomplish those max scores, I have work to do.

Finally we come to number 5. I have been a Final Fantasy Fan all my life, that being said I had to choose the story that I loved the most. I remember the first one I ever played was 6, but 8 was the first I actually completed. It had a great story along with interesting characters. Given a chance I would re-buy that game in an instant if I had the oppritunity.
